Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive numerical simulation study of near-field loads resulting from cylindrical charge underwater explosions using Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH). The research investigates pressure distribution, bubble dynamics, and structural response under various charge configurations and depths. Advanced computational models are developed to accurately predict explosion effects and validate results against experimental data. The findings provide valuable insights for naval architecture, offshore structure design, and underwater safety protocols.
